Estonian open VHF/UHF/SHF Fieldday
==================================

the purpose of this open contest is to enhance the activity of VHF/UHF/SHF
amateurs in Estonia and North-East area of Europe and to establish as many
contacts as possible during the contest period

A maximum of one transmitted signal per band at anby given time

2m, 70cm, 23cm

Mode:

CW, SSB, FM and AM

Exchange:
---------
Signal report (RS or RST), serial number of QSO commencing with #001
(starting from #001 on each band!) and a full WW QTH locator. Entrants may
be not change the location of their station during the contest

Multipliers:
------------
1 on 144 MHz band
2 on 432 MHZ band
4 on 1296 MHz band

Points:
-------
One point for a kilometer of QRB. Contacts to 10 kilometers count 10 points.
For scoring at least one two-way contact must be made with an ES-station

ATTENTION!
A given station, regardless of mode, may be worked again for points credit
after one hour from previous QSO. For the computer scoring purposes a
conversion factor of 111,2 km/degree must be used. Contacts made trough a
repeater, via satellite or moonbounce will not count for points

Band score:

QSO points on the band times to the summary of multipliers on the given band

Final Score:
------------
the sum of the band scores

Logs:
-----
Separate logs are required for each band. Time - UTC. Each entry must be
accompanied by a summary sheet showing all scoring information, category,
contestant's name and address and a signed declaration that all contest
rules and regulations for amateur radio in the country of operation have
been observed. All operators of multioperator stations must be listed as
well

Disqualification:
-----------------
Violation of amateur radio regulations in the country of contestant or the
rules of the contest, unsportsmanlike conduct, taking credit for 
unverifiable contacts will be deemed sufficient cause for disqualification.
Actions and decision of the contest committee are official and final

Awards:

Certificates will be awarded to the three top scoring stations in each
category. First place certificates will be awarded to TOP scoring station in
each country. In countries where the returns justify second and third place
awards will be made
