Type of Competition:

the Activitiy Group Telegraphy (AGCW-DL) is cordially inviting amateurs all
over the world to participate in the annual QRP-CONTESTS. They are meant to
arouse, to promote and to cultivate interests in all aspects of low-power
amateur radio. --QRO-STATIONS-- are invited as well to contact low-power
stations and are graded in an own category. QSO between QRO stations are not
allowed! Only one TX and RX or TRCVR may be operated at the same time. QSO
with stations outside the contest are valid, too

Categories:

VLP - single operator, very low power, up to 1 W out or 2 W input
QRP - single operator, 'classic' QRP, up to 5 W out or 10 W input
MP  - single operator, moderate power, up to 25 W out or 50 W input
QRO - single operator, above 25 W out or 50 W input

Contest Period:

9 hours minimum rest time - in one or two blocks - are obligatory

Bands:

80m, 40m, 20m, 15m, 10m
take care of IARU-recommended subbands for contest operation

Exchange:
---------
Reception of RST is sufficient from noncontest stations. Contest stations
exchange RST and serial number/category

Multiplier:
-----------
the contestmanager will calculate 2 MP-points for each DXCC-country worked
in QSO with a VLP-, QRP- or MP-station having submitted a log. Otherwise
each DXCC-country count 1 MP-point per band

Points:
-------
the contestmanager will calculate 4 points for QSO with VLP-, QRP- or
MP-stations having submitted a log. Other QSO on the own continent count
1 point, with DX 2 QSO-points

Final Score:
------------
total QSO-points miltiplied by total MP-points. All point calculation
necessarily will be done by the contestmanager

Logs:
-----
please list QSO seperate for each band and mark your claimed multipliers.
To obligatory rest time(s) and out- resp. inputs of all operated TX must be
declared, more station details are appreciated. Don't forget your full
address - and possibly an IRC - for result lists. Your QSO-partner only will
get full points, if you did send a log. So please send any kind of log -
even 3 QSO listed an a postcard
