            Dave's Targa Animator v 3.0 release notes

Nov 11, 1996
Folks,

As the online help for dtawin doesn't yet exist, and
since I haven't really even gotten started on tuning the
interface, here are a few hints to get you started...

  1) Just type filenames in the script editor window, one
filename or wildcard specification per line.
Alternatively, you can click on the Add files button
(the icon looks like a file folder) and select files
     from a file open box.
  2) You can select output format, color resolution, etc.
in the output options dialog, which you can access
by clicking the Output options button (the icon
looks like a little sheet of paper).
  3) To build a flic (or whatever) click on the Build
button (the icon looks like a movie camera).
  4) Input file formats currently supported are TGA, PNG,
     Flics, AVI, and PCX.
  5) Output file formats currently supported are TGA, PNG
     Flics, AVI, and PCX.

  Folks,

This is the final version of DTA for Dos and for DTA for Windows
version 3.0.

The documentation for dtawin still does not exist and is not likely
to at any time in the near future. David's real job is intefering with
his ability to work on this program any longer and it is unlikely that
he will be releasing a new version anytime soon. The above information
is still correct and you should be able to run the program without
problems.

This archive contains his latest compile of the program and bugs
found in the alpha and beta releases have now been fixed. He did not
however send me a list of what those fixes are so your guess is as
good as mine.

support for your use of his programs. I have added these comments
as a favor to you and regret I cannot offer any more information
  than I already have. )
